It can be so irritating when people keep advising you ” Just Follow Your Passion”
Yeah, sure, you’d love to, if only you knew what your passion was!
You are probably the kind of person who works hard with dedication, and commitment. When you believe or you know what you are doing, nothing will stop you. But before you can become unstoppable, you must need to know what you are doing or starting.
“My mission in life is not merely to survive, but to thrive; and to do so with some passion, some compassion, some humor, and some style”.
If you feel broke or you are stuck. Here is how to discover what you really want:
1. Do What Needs To Be Done:
Most people do what their routine is on daily basis, they do what they are told to do, do the project or work that is due today or they do what they are good at doing.
All these things are ideal. Instead, you should do what needs to be done.
The things you do daily does not give surety that you are doing what really needs to be done.
“The skills and abilities that made you a success in the past are not
the skills and abilities that will make you a success in the future”
2. Converse With A Career Counselor:
A professional instructor has an experience and knowledge to help other people to show them what they need as a profession and have knowledge which enables you to focus on the things you love most to do. They guide differently and get the best version out of you which is hidden inside you.
3. Keep In Mind What You Loved As A Child:
Adolescence is the age in which most genuine interests develop. So keep in mind what activities you were passionate about before you needed to stress over your profession. Do whatever it takes you to find your passion.
4. Approach Your Friends for Feedback:
You friends or the people around you know about you and they can suggest you in a better way.
Maybe they are not good at it but you just try to listen to them.
“Follow your passion, be prepared to work hard and sacrifice, and, above all,
don’t let anyone limit your dreams”.
